The Story

At first They were a group of friends who are passionate about cars and racing, they used to go to the circuit during the weekends so they realized that they could make something out of it. In 2005 is when Gulfrun was first invented. The idea is to promote car racing and training in a safe secure and controlled environment rather than in the street where other drivers and pedestrians are in a harm way, not to mention street racing is illegal. With the help of qualified trainers and professional instructors the first GulfRun was successful that it became a yearly event not to the drivers only, but to the public. The first car show was in 2009 which was located in Marina mall where the drivers, enthusiasts, and car lovers all participated. In 2010 the event shifted to 360 mall due to the massive success. In 2010, GulfRun raffled two motorcycles to raise money for charity as its social responsibilities. In 2010 GulfRun raised 9,460 KD for Hayat Cancer Foundation and this charitable event became a part of the annual Car Show event.
